A maunt is somthing a soldier or person rides on. It is said by many people that people in the medieval times would ride on legendary animals. I am not sure if people did or did not.
Most people would ride horses. People used horses in many ways.
Fighting, Working, etc.... The knights would be the ones to ride into battle
on beautyful horses. The other men would walk. That is why they were called foot-\
soldiers. The horses would usually be either in armor or in barding, which is much
like armor but a little lighter. The king of The country usually had the most magnificent
horse out of all men who lived there. Even when horses would dye in battle
the knights would get off and fight.
